Tony is a drug hunter.  During his almost 30 year career in Biotech and Pharma, he has led teams and built pipelines to deliver multiple innovative products to improve the lives of people living with autoimmune diseases.  With experience from start-up biotech through global pharma, he has developed a keen understanding of what it takes to not only discover and develop innovative therapeutics but also to develop individuals and teams as well as to build companies.

Tony has extensive experience as a CSO, Board Director and Scientific Advisor.  Through the non-profit Institute for Biomedical Entrepreneurship he co-founded, Tony has mentored entrepreneurs in their journey to develop novel therapeutics and build companies.  A biochemist by training, Tony has contributed more than 110 scientific publications and patents relating to the molecular basis of autoimmune disease and novel drug discovery.
